Best-selling author and copyright expert Russell will offer clear guidance on 
ways to legally provide materials to students by exploring scenarios often 
encountered by educators in schools. Addressing many of the subjects covered in 
her recent book, she will show K-12 librarians and educators what they really 
need to know to manage copyright law.

Workshop topics will include:

  *   The purpose of copyright law
  *   The special status of non-profit educational institutions
  *   K-12 librarians' and educators' professional roles regarding copyright

journals as Library Trends, Library Issues, Public Libraries, and Library 
Journal.
