I can't think of a way to share a kindle book with patrons unless you offer kindles for check out. We downloaded The Rescuer to all our 6 kindles when it came out and it is cataloged in our online system so if someone was looking for a book by Dara Horn, they would see this title and understand it is only available if they check out a kindle.
The title is only $1.99, short, and a very good read.
