Dear Yossi,
I was wondering if I could post the following message on HaSafran:

The American Sephardi Federation Announces its Survey of
Sephardi/Mizrahi Archives in the Northeastern United States

Contact: Mr. Randall Belinfante, 212.294.8350 x3

(New York, NY) May 1, 2013 - The American Sephardi Federation is pleased to
announce the completion of a survey of Sephardi/Mizrahi archival materials in
the Northeastern region of the United States, made possible through the
generous support of the National Historical Publications and Records Commission
(NHPRC).

The survey focused on locations where Sephardi and Mizrahi communities
currently live, or where they were known to have resided in the past, as well
as existing and defunct institutions that have served these populations. Its
intention is to highlight and increase the accessibility of the available
archival resources in this region and to provide and maintain an online guide
and website (http://sephardicarchives.org<http://sephardicarchives.org/>) that
makes these results accessible to scholars and the general public.

ASF received responses from 146 sites, nearly twice as many as originally
anticipated. Although we are still accepting more surveys from the Northeast,
we hope that this will be only the first phase in a much larger survey of
Sephardi/Mizrahi archival materials from sites all around the United States.

Thanks for your help!

Randy Belinfante
