You'll learn how to implement form-based RA from start (getting administrative and staff buy-in) to finish (building forms and training staff members). Workshop topics include: * The current state of Readers' Advisory services and what form-based RA is * Making the case to your library leaders * Crafting forms, and how to assemble and train your form-based RA team Rebecca Howard is a Readers' Librarian and coordinates "Your Next Great Read". She is a regular contributor to the blog Reading Addict, and develops and supports Readers' Library programming. An ALA member, she also belongs to the Social Responsibilities Roundtable and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender Roundtable. Laura Raphael worked at the Tulsa City-County Library in a variety of jobs including Associate Volunteer Coordinator before becoming Associate Librarian in the Readers' Library department of the Central Library, a position she has held since 2006. She has an M.A. in English Literature from Northeastern State University.
