NO complete Jewish Publication Society collection of this nature focusing
on all First Editions accompanied by historic material has ever been
offered for sale on the market. This extraordinary collection, assembled by
dealer Irvin Ungar over a period of more than two decades, would be nearly
impossible to duplicate in its entirety. While a similar collection exits
at the Philadelphia office of The Jewish Publication Society with Archives
housed at Temple University (Special collection of the Philadelphia Jewish
Community), those contents have not been compared with thisCollection. This
is the first collection of its kind offered for public or private sale.
