I would love to offer Jewish libraries the opportunity to purchase the educational DVDs at a discount. Educational DVDs, as you probably know, are for use in classrooms, for library patrons to check out, etc. Screening fees are different (higher), although I I normally allow temples that do screenings to keep the DVD in their library.
Here are the posted prices for educational purpose DVDs: Educational Purchase: Full Length Film (75 Minutes) Universities, Museums, Large Libraries - $350 Temple Libraries & Public Libraries: $150 High Schools: $75 Educational Purchase: Educational Length Film (55:30 minutes) Universities, Museums, Large Libraries - $250 Temple Libraries & Public Libraries: $100 High Schools: $45 I would offer to your list serve with a discount of 25% Temple Libraries & Public Libraries: $112.5 Temple Libraries & Public Libraries: $75 It would be a huge help to the film (we're are STILL paying off music rights) and hopefully, a nice perk for AJL members.
