Dear Safranim -
We have just launched a new web exhibition, "13th Century Entanglements: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam."
To see the exhibition, go to: http://www.library.upenn.edu/exhibits/cajs/fellows13/
The sources selected for display in this exhibit reflect scholarly efforts undertaken at the Katz Center last year to develop a more integrated account of Jewish, Christian, and Islamic societies during the Middle Ages. They include a rich variety of Hebrew, Latin and Arabic manuscripts and early printed texts which illustrate a range of topics such as medieval liturgical poetry, law, rhetoric, philosophy, science, magic, social history, gender relations, inter-communal contact, conflict and other forms of entanglement both positive and negative.
Best wishes, Arthur -- Arthur Kiron, Ph.D. Schottenstein-Jesselson Curator of Judaica Collections University of Pennsylvania Libraries 3420 Walnut Street Philadelphia, PA 19104-6206 T.
