SHADOW IN BAGHDAD Film/talk with clips from this new documentary Israeli filmmaker Duki Dror and Mideast journalist Linda Menuhin will be present
October 29, 2013 (Tuesday) at 7:30 Washington DCJCC, Goldman Theater 1529 16th Street, NW, Washington, DC 20036 This event will feature clips from the film coupled with a talk by director Duki Dror and subject Linda Menuhin. Please note that this is not a full screening. A young Iraqi journalist sets out to write about Linda Abdel Aziz Menuhin, who escaped to Israel in the early 70's and whose father, a prominent lawyer, had been kidnapped in Baghdad. The continuous dialog between the two slowly uncovers the tragic end of her father, as well as that of a whole Jewish community that thrived in Iraq for over 2000 years.
