I do recall that "brief history of AJL" - but have no idea where to find it. Sorry. The best I can do is point you in the direction of several other resources about AJL history: 1) "Institutional Sketch." in A Finding Aid to the Association of Jewish Libraries Records, 1950-1996. [FYI: When I discovered that the American Library Association Yearbooks had annual reports of many other library associations, except AJL, I contacted ALA. They invited us to write an article. AJL President Harvey Horowitz requested that I, as AJL Vice President/President-Elect, write the first ALA Yearbook article about AJL history and progress; I enlisted the assistance of Rita Frischer, SSC President.
