Hi Everyone! Today's Google Doodle honors Chaim Nachman Bialik, who was one of the pioneers of modern Hebrew poetry and came to be recognized as Israel's national poet.
I posted the Google Doodle at: http://www.jr.co.il/t/doodles/index-2014.htm I also posted on the page a video of Arik Einstein singing the Hebrew song: "Bring Me in Under your Wings" The lyrics were written by Chaim Nachman Bialik. FYI - I graduated from Bialik Elementary School which was named after the poet. My mom a"h, taught Hebrew at Bialik School from 1964 to 1982.
