<>One of our language teachers is looking for a Spanish movie called
Valentina, a 92 minute Spanish language film produced in 1982. It was
written and directed by Antonio Jose Betancor.We would like to buy
this DVD but cannot find it anywhere.
Valentina is a rather famous movie here in Spain. It's based on the book
Cronica del Alba by Ramon J. Sender. The spanish actors are quite famous
(at least in Spain!). Anthony Quinn plays the priest with a very very
very pronounced Mexican accent that stands out against the spanish one.
Two options:
1) I think I can get it for you here in Valencia but it's in the
European format which you will either have to have converted into USA
format or find a DVD player that can play the european format; or,
2) You can watch it on YouTube (except for the last part which I can't
seem to find).
