I recently reviewed Howard Jacobson's  (the "British Philip Roth") new book, 
"J" in the Jewish Journal and it was fascinating-and would make a good book 
group read. It was on the short list for the Booker Prize this year (it didn't 
win). Quite a complex book, but I think this group should be aware of it. By 
the way, best not to try it as an audiobook-it doesn't work well for that 
format.
