Continuing on the mission statement theme.....can anyone share their
collection development policy?

My predecessor spent so much time cleaning up years of accumulated junk,
and putting everything into an online catalog, that she didn't focus too
much on adding to the collection.

Now, we are in a new shlav, where there is space on the shelves, and
(almost) everything is organized. I want to come up with a real "plan"--
not just randomly purchasing items that look interesting....

Thanks!
-Rachel
