Colleagues, A review copy of a new book, Constellations of Atlantic Jewish History, 1555-1890 , landed on my desk not long ago. It is edited by Arthur Kiron and published by the University of Pennsylvania Libraries. The volume is a companion to an exhibition that took place at Penn during the first half of 2014, featuring the Arnold and Deanne Kaplan collection of American Judaica (which was donated to Penn in 2012). As TV commercials (at least on the more obscure stations) like to assert, this book is "not available in stores."
