Since I know Debbie won't "toot her own horn" I just have to add that you
can be confident that any books Debbie sells you (even if they are on super
clearance) are high quality children's books that belong in almost every
Jewish library. As a past member of the Sydney Taylor Book Award Committee
and a very experienced children's librarian, Debbie knows her books and she
won't steer you wrong. I have gotten some great deals from Debbie for our
synagogue library this past year. Have fun spending your grant, Riva!

Riva,

I'm in the process of closing my Jewish book business and I have hundreds of
titles (adults and children) that I can sell you for a lower price than
you'll get anywhere, simply to help me reduce my inventory, if you're
interested and willing. I'll send you my inventory list off line, but I
wanted to respond to the entire group, in case anyone else is in a position
to purchase. I've been sending seasonal and topical lists to Hasafran this
past year, and I'm about to send a list of Tu B'Shvat, Purim, and Shabbat
books by next week, but I'm happy to supply the entire list to anyone
interested. Discounts will be 50% or more from now on until I close,
hopefully by June.

Subject: [ha-Safran] buying children's books

Our library got a grant of $1,500 to buy books for children and young
people.
I use Alibris library service for buying adult books, but wonder if there
is an especially good source for Jewish children's books that you can
recommend.
Thanks.
