Have a happy Pessah. Amalia Hello! I’m the youth services librarian at the New Jersey State Library Talking Book & Braille Center. One of our young patrons is low vision, so reads audiobooks and large print books. Because they are not allowed to use electronic devices on Sabbath, it means that they cannot use our digital talking book player or any ereader to read digitally. Due to their young age, most of the reading materials are being read with an ereader to increase the font size. I was wondering if you had any recommendations I could pass along to the family for reading on the Sabbath. Right now, I’m thinking of recommending something like a non-electronic magnifier (like this one - http://www.maxiaids.com/products/12285/1-5x-Full-Sheet-Magnifier-with-Folding-Stand.html ), but anything else I could pass along to the family would be greatly appreciated. I have also reached out to JBI International for their input. Thank you!
