I am sorry to tell you that Beth Wong, excellent public librarian and beloved wife of AJL past council member Daniel Scheide, died after a long illness on March 23. Daniel is a member of AJL's South Florida Chapter, and chapter members represented AJL at the shiva.
If you wish to make a donation in memory of Beth, please consider her favorite charities: Mazon, Women in Distress, or American Jewish World Service. As past attendees know, each year during the AJL conference banquet we collect money for a donation to Mazon. This year's collection will be dedicated to Beth's memory.
