Starting this year, we are going to have a short all-school assembly each month for Rosh Hodesh. The Religious School Director has asked me to read a relevant story each month. Please let me know if you have any suggestions of good read-alouds (picture books or stories) for 2nd-6th graders that correspond/relate to the months of Heshvan-Iyar but are not holiday related.
