Can anyone offer recommendations regarding how I should catalog this important book? (my library uses the Weine system.)
Based on Alter Wiener’s book, FROM A NAME TO A NUMBER: A HOLOCAUST SURVIVOR’S AUTOBIOGRAPHY, GIFTS FROM THE ENEMY “transports young readers back [to the] time when an unexpected person demonstrated moral courage in repeated acts of kindness toward [Wiener].” “Why, I asked myself, would this stranger be willing to risk her life not once but 30 times for me? Why me?” The book is about how acts of social justice and kindness can change lives. It is also a Holocaust Personal Narrative. What call number would be most appropriate? I want young adults to be able to find it in the appropriate spot in the library. I would greatly appreciate your suggestions and recommendations. Many thanks, Amy Turim Temple Emanuel Kensington, MD
