We print our own barcode labels using OPALS. You just need address labels –
compatible with Avery 5160/8160.

Kathe,

I believe that OPALS allows for printing of your own barcodes. We have a huge
supply of barcode labels from a previous order (before OPALS) that has lasted
so far, and looks like it will last for at least another 10 years or more, so
we never did it, but I believe it is possible.

Subject: [ha-Safran] Another OPALS question

Esteemed Colleagues,

Thank you to everyone who responded to my request for information. Thanks to
everyone's positive feedback, we are hoping to convert the records in the near
future.

Next question:

What is your preference for ordering spine labels?

We are going to be barcoding the books (and using a scanner).

Are there any other supplies needed that are specific to using OPALS?

Thank you very much,
Chava Pinchuck
