Dear colleagues :

As a follow-up to this message, sent a few days ago, and to help you with your
travel plan I want to share with you information about a visit to the
Addlestone Library at the College of Charleston.

We are planning a visit at the Addlestone Library on Monday afternoon. We
shall post the entire program grid to hasafran and on the AJL website very soon.

The Addlestone Library can only accommodate a group of 40 visitors so the visit
on Monday will be on a first come basis. For those of you who can't make it on
Monday, we have asked, and been granted, another visit of 60 people on
Wednesday afternoon.

Interested attendees could thus take a tour of Charleston, the city and/or the
Jewish sites, Wednesday morning at 8:30 and then plan a visit to the library in
the afternoon.

We hope that this information will help you make your travel plans.

We are looking forward to welcoming you and helping you in any way possible.
We are also looking into babysitting for those attendees who could benefit from
it.

All the best,

Warm regards,
Shoshanah

Subject: Tours at AJL 51st annual conference

Dear colleagues:

Thanks again for your interest and your excitement at the idea of coming to
Charleston to attend the 51st AJL conference.

As you all know, Charleston is a beautiful city with a lot to offer. You have
asked for tours and this is what I have put in place.

1. As you know, Charleston can be quite warm in June, so the best times to take
the tours would be the mornings starting at 8:30 or 9:00

2. There are two kinds of tours: charleston and Jewish sites of Charleston.
The city of Charleston tours must be lead by a city certified tour guide, with
no more than 20 in any group

3. I shall send you the names, emails, telephones, websites (if avaiable) of
the best guides who have been recommended to me with their suggestions,
itineraries, prices, conditions

4. I shall not organize the groups and neither will our registrar accept money
to pay for them. The guides know that AJL will host its convention in
Charleston this year and they are eager to meet you and showcase their
beautiful cities

5. Please make your travel plans accordingly. I shall send more information
very soon.

I am also very excited and eager to welcome you in this city I have learned to
love

Best regards,
Shoshanah
