Hi Galina

The translation of תשע״ה ירח האיתנים is, as you say, the month of “Tishrei”
2014 in the Gregorian calendar. See website

https://www.hebcal.com/converter/?hd=1
<https://www.hebcal.com/converter/?hd=1&hm=Tishrei&hy=5775&h2g=1>
&hm=Tishrei&hy=5775&h2g=1

which places the month of Tishrei 5775 across September and October 2014
dependent on the day of the month.

I trust this helps.

Best wishes

Subject: [ha-Safran] ?!

Thank you all, my friends!

Apparently my question was not clear enough, sorry.

>From my original message:

“Would you suggest how to read designation: תפילה תשע"ה “ - I expected
that someone would know how to read that,

But …

some told me Tefilah- means Prayer – thanks, it’s given,

some told me 775 is 2014 or 2015-thanks, it’s given,

some told me that Hebrew and secular Calendar overlap- thanks, it’s given,
as well,

no one, so far, answered major question- How to read that: is it “Prayer
2014/2015” ? - doesn’t seem right to me at all …

And I have that question, because publisher has a particular pattern/style:

Volume “Daled” has ירח האיתנים תשע"ה , which is Tishrei (see
Even-Shoshan), thus, 2014, Sept.

My guess is that this one on my hand, volume “ ה”, ought to be 2015(?)

If I have just a year, I do not have a question, but since the publisher
designated it with something else, I need to decipher, so to speak that:
unless, it might, just might, means-any time of the year, except those four
months (?), which do have their Biblical names.. – that’s when your
expertise needed.

If any of you have a good idea after I gave you more information, please
share.

As for now, I shall wait till (btw, “Yehalek shalal”) next volume comes–it
might clarify the matter

Wish you all the best!

Galina

I haven’t found any month which corresponds to this, and yes, I looked at
the Bible Calendar.

I need to know if it clarifies a year - 2015 or 2014. – I expected that
someone know what it related to, I for one, think, it might, just might be
any time of the year except those for month that do have Biblical names

“Dear …, I need to be more precise because my “Daled” volume has “ ירח
האיתנים תשע"ה “ which is Tishrei, thus, 2014, Sept.; and my guess is that
this one on my hand, ה, ought to be 2015(?)

If I have just a year, I do not have a question, but since the publisher
designated it with something else, I need to decipher, so to speak that.”

Best!

G
