Dear Bonnie et al,

The member area of the AJL website lists about 100 member libraries with links
to their catalogs. Each one is labelled according to the type of classification
system they use.

You can find it by logging on as a member and clicking on
http://jewishlibraries.org/content.php?page=Members____Catalogs

Best wishes,

Bonnie, you can also look at the Sephardic Temple Tifereth Israel library site:

Hi Bonnie,

You can look at either our website or AJU, but you will only find books on it
that we own. There is no online resource like OCLC that will match books with
Elazar numbers. Many people search our catalog for numbers and subject
headings.

The American Jewish University catalog offers titles in two numbering systems
(LC and Elazar) for two different libraries: the AJU, and the Jewish Community
Library. The University library uses LC and the new Sperber Jewish Community
library uses Elazar. Unfortunately, the only way to see if title is held in
the Community Library is to click on it on the catalog page, and then it will
show the location and the two different call numbers.

Good luck!

Subject: [ha-Safran] Online catalog for Elazar

I am looking for a synagogue with an accessible online catalog using Elazar or
any online catalog source where I could input a title and get an Elazar number.

Your help is very much appreciated.
