Subject: Need librarian to make presentation at Day School conference

There is a need for an AJL librarian to make a presentation at the
2016 Yeshiva Day School Day of Learning and Vendor Fair. The focus is on the
elementary and early childhood,
Joyce Levine and colleagues have prepared a power point emphasizing the
importance of the school library. This can be integrated into a talk about the
importance of the library for the school. Joyce will be happy to help anyone
who would be prepared to present.
If you are interested, please notify Joyce and cc me.

See below for details of the conference. We have approached the organizers and
they would be interested in such a program. This is an opportunity to promote
libraries in the Jewish school.

We are currently planning the program for The Jewish Education Project's Annual
Yeshiva Day School Day of Learning, taking place on Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
This conference is for Early Childhood, Elementary, and Middle School
educators. We would like to extend an invitation to you and / or your staff to

We are actively seeking educational leaders and master teachers who have the
capacity to effectively share their particular expertise with other educators.
This is an opportunity to serve in a recognized leadership capacity for Jewish
education. Please encourage your qualified staff to submit a proposal.
The theme of the 2016 conference is Educators as Change Agents - Adaptive
Leadership. All curriculum content areas will be included- math, science,
Judaic studies, etc.
