The RAS Awards Committee invites all RAS members to apply to serve on the committee. The AJL Judaica Bibliography and Reference Awards were established to encourage the publication of outstanding academic reference resources.
Awards committee members must be a member in good standing of AJL and actively participate in the work of the committee through email discussions and work on other web-based platforms. The members review chosen reference and bibliography publications and submit reviews at the beginning of the calendar year and participate in email discussions about the redacted reviews. Members can serve on two consecutive two-year terms. We have two openings. If you are interested in being a part of Awards Committee, please send me an email at [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> by September 1, 2016.
