Hello Ellen. The title is THE VERY BEST PLACE FOR A PENNY. It’s a classic,
quite dated (though I was surprised to just see that it was published in 1984;
it looks like a book from the early 1960s!) and still a big hit with younger
students aged K-5. It’s the story of a giant penny trying to find the “best
place” where he fits in. Children find it pretty hilarious because of the
illustrations, and it does get the tzedakah message across. Definitely a book
to have in a Jewish library that reaches out to children, in or out of a
religious school setting.

Subject: [ha-Safran] book on Tzeddakah

One of the faculty requested a book "Best things to do with a penny"

does anyone know about this book and the correct title?

Thank you!
