To all the Librarians and book lovers. I had the privilege of serving with Lisa on AJL Board, I read her articles and book reviews, attended her presentations at the conferences and heard of her participation in several other organizations that promote children literacy. Hearing of her as one of the driving forces in the creation of the Jewish Community Library happen does not thrills me. What pleases me most to is to know that there is support for a community library at times that synagogue libraries close their doors, librarians loose their job or have their hours cut. Having said that the Sperber Jewish Community Library is in good hands .I know that, with Lisa’s leadership, it will serve as inspiration to other communities to do the same. Mazal tov Lisa !
