We have just completed digitising a pilot batch of Jewish pamphlets as part of our Uncovering UCL's Jewish Pamphlet Collections project, and we have encountered some issues with OCR of Hebrew and Gothic scripts (particularly where there is a mixture of scripts in the same document) and also with the display of parallel Hebrew and English texts. If anyone would be prepared to share their experience of digitising printed materials then please contact me off list.
