The AJL encourages the publication of outstanding works of Judaica reference and bibliography through its annual awards. The AJL Judaica Reference Award, funded by Dr. Greta Silver of New York City, was established to encourage the publication of outstanding Judaica reference books. Eric Chaim Kline of Los Angeles established the AJL Judaica Bibliography Award to encourage exceptional work in bibliography. Publishers wishing to submit books published in 2016 or inquire about the award, or individuals wishing to recommend books, should contact the Reference and Bibliography Awards Committee chair Rachel Simon ([email protected]<mailto:[email protected]>)
