In the evaluation form Jim mentioned a special activity for the 50th anniversary for Sydney Taylor. What a great idea. It would be a wonderful chance to do a spectacular program on Sunday with the public. Sydney Taylor is so well known we could highlight her books and the prize winning books. Involve the public libraries, get press coverage, maybe even a spot on TV (C-Span???). I think Sunday is the perfect day-people are already in for Monday, people are off, families could come.....Great chance to do outreach. Not sure how many people would be able to stay after the conference. Just a thought.
