Dr. Irena Klepfisz wrote an article entitled "Di Mames, Dos Loshn/The Mothers,
the Language: Feminism, Yidishkayt, and the Politics of Memory" for Bridges: a
Journal for Jewish Feminists and Our Friends, (Volume 4, no. 1, Winter - Summer
1994, 5754, pages 12-47), in which Sore Shenirer was one of the women profiled.
Also, please see the article in the YIVO Encyclopedia.
And in the Jewish Women's Archive.
Also, Dr. Naomi Seidman has been researching the life of Sarah Schenirer.
>From amazon.com, it looks like her monograph is anticipated for 2018.
LC has copies of several of her works (e.g. Em be-Yisrael, Sefer ha-Mahazot,
I hope this helps.

Subject: [ha-Safran] Sarah Schenier
I have a patron who is doing research about Sarah Schenirer (the founder of the
Bais Yaakov movement) and is looking for in general, anything related to Sarah
Schenirer and the Bais Yaakov movement, would be of interest.
More specifically: She would love to get a copy of the Gizamelte Schriften
(Sarah Schenirer), Lodz version (ie, not the version put out by the BY Teachers
Seminary in the US) as well as copies of any of the Bais Yaakov Journals (Bajs
Jakow or Beys Yankev). If anyone has access to them or to microforms and can
email scans of them, that would be very helpful.
Thanks for any and all help!
