Hi Netta, Many of our colleagues are very happy with OPALS. It is relatively inexpensive, the company itself is very nice and offers a lot of support, and many AJL people are more than happy to help, too.
http://help.opalsinfo.net/ ResourceMate is also an option because it meets your criteria of user friendly, lots of searchable fields and custom reporting.
