Dear Hasafranim,
A couple years ago, my library was in the middle of a budget crises, i.e. the
book budget was slashed in half, periodicals were eliminated, and my salary
didn't fare too well either.
Well, there's a new sheriff in town and it's time to submit new proposed
budgets. I'd like to try to make the case for a slight increase. It would help
to have some statistics in hand -- book prices increasing, etc -- and arguments
formulated to present to the board.
For instance, I found this --
https://bookscouter.com/blog/2017/01/amazon-raises-prices-selling-used-books,
which discusses price increases for Amazon used books. Are there any other
articles out there I can use for ammunition?
