Hello Safranim, It's been a while in coming ....but AJLSC (with most of the work done by Ellen Cole, President) has once again compiled a wonderful list of the best books of 2016, which is now available exclusively on the AJLSC webpage. We offer an adult list of fiction and non-fiction, and a children's list of picture books, middle grade books, and YA. In order to remain relevant into the coming year, the lists are entitled, "A Selected List of Recent Books for 2017" -and all books have a 2016 copyright. They serve as useful handouts at Jewish libraries. The lists will also be available on the AJL homepage shortly.
