I recently offered a newer edition of this set free to anyone who'd pay for shipping. The only interest was an inquiry from Lithuania, which disappeared when we found the estimated cost of shipping would be $100. I subsequently heard from several other librarians that there was little value to this set from a library perspective. Their assessment was that this is a poor translation of a superceded work. There are some antiquarian and Judaica book sellers on this list and you might hear from them privately if they thought the set had any value.

I finally bit the bullet and pulled this beautiful 6-vol set of Graetz's History of the Jews published from 1891-1898. It is not in pristine condition and has library markings and circulation pockets in the back. Do you think it has any value at this point? Would a collector be interested? I have several other similar books and sets. Thanks, Rachel Haus Library Director Congregation of Moses Fisher Library Kalamazoo MI
