Dear AJL conference attendees, Please join us for the "Collaborating with Strangers" workshop at the Association of Jewish Libraries Annual Conference on Monday, June 18, 5.30 pm. All are welcome: there is no registration required! Regardless of one's professional experience, gender, ethnicity, disability, or personality, CoLABs offer one of the most productive and enjoyable workshop experiences for participants, especially those looking for partnerships or new resources. CoLAB Planning Series® Workshop demonstrate the power of creating a café-like, open space environment where participants partner during three-minute speed-meetings to practice 1) conversing with others in their field who they may not know or whose work they may not know; 2) discovering untapped resources and knowledge; and 3) initiating possible cooperative, coordinative, collaborative, or mentoring partnerships. To date, over 2,800 participants (students, faculty, academic and public librarians, academic administrators as well as conference attendees) have benefitted from CoLABs. Hope to see you there!
