Dean of Libraries James Madison University (JMU) invites applications and nominations for the position of Dean of Libraries. Serving a critical role in advancing the academic endeavor, JMU Libraries embraces engagement, collaboration, and innovation. With more than 150 employees, the Libraries serve a university with eight colleges, over 900 faculty, and over 22,000 students. The Dean of Libraries reports to the provost and responsibilities include collaborating with fellow deans, participating in service activities on campus and engaging in scholarship through publication, presentations and R&D activities.
