On Monday, February 11th, from 1pm to 4pm, the Association of Jewish Libraries<https://www.facebook.com/jewishlibraries/> will hold its 2019 Reference Conference at Center for Jewish History<https://www.facebook.com/centerforjewishhistory/>, open to the public. Speakers will present on topics of community outreach and guardianship of information relevant to the field of libraries. $10 for AJL-NYMA members. $18 for general public. Speakers will include: Carole Basri will discuss her work with artifacts of the Jewish community of Iraq. Akiva Weisinger is a teacher and podcaster who promotes community engagement in discussions of Judaism through the Facebook group "GSUFYO" (God Save Us from Your Opinion).
