Good Morning AJL Members, As many of you heard, last month I had a baby boy, Shai. I've been settling in to my new life with two children and lack of sleep. However, because of Shai, I won't be able to make it this year to the LA conference. Originally, I planned to fly out with the baby but with the measles outbreak, my pediatrician has strongly recommended against flying with him. And it is just too difficult for me and my family to come alone since I live on the east coast. So I will very sadly have to sit this conference out. I am so disappointed. I really wanted to spend the time learning from fellow AJL-ers and meeting all the newcomers.
I can't wait to see everyone in Chicago in 2020 and if anyone is going to be at ALA I'm going to stop by for a little bit. Best, Dina AJL President -- Dina Herbert [email protected]
