Dear Librarians, I would like to invite you to the event next week, on Thursday, Sep. 19th. “Avner Moriah: Five Books of Moses” is a beautiful work, by a distinguished artist, who interprets the bible in a unique way: through an illustration of the biblical text. The five books a have been donated to Hebrew Union College - Jewish Institute of Religion’s Klau Library by Sheila and Bill Lambert in memory of Rabbi Aaron Panken, Ph.D., z”l, HUC-JIR Past President (2014-2018), and Rabbi David Posner, Senior Rabbi Emeritus of Congregation Emanu-El of the City of New York (1973-2013).
