Marion Stein here. I have a set of sound tapes called 'Voices of History: ISRAEL' that was conceived and executed by Samuel J. Citron in the late 1960's. There are 5 sets of tapes of 10 reels each. They are ALL primary sources with the voices of people like Abba Eban, Menachem Begin, David Ben Gurion answering questions posed by Sam Citron. Here are a few of examples: >From series 2: Masada by Prof. Yigal Yadin
>From series 2: The religion of Tzahal by R.Shlomo Goren >From series 1: Herzl the Man by Flora Muzkat (who had dinner with Herzl in Switzerland). This is a very small sampling of the 50 tapes in the 5 series. Jewish Nation Library would like to have these tapes and the accompanying written lessons and questions but they do not have money to digitize them nor to have them shipped over from New York. So..... I am willing to pay part of the estimated $2000 (approx.) that it would take to accomplish this. I am looking for some others who would be willing to contribute money that would constitute a tax deductible contribution to the Library so that I could make this happen.
