We are seeking bloggers who write about Jewish books, to participate in a
new project designed to fight antisemitism through education and allyship.
Sponsored by the Association of Jewish Libraries, the initiative is
called Through
the Window: A Diverse Blog Exchange.

Participating bloggers will swap guest posts with a blogger from a
different marginalized community. What do you wish the rest of the world
knew about Jews and Jewish literature? As a guest on another diverse blog,
you can educate the world, bust some myths, and share your pride with
interviews, reading recommendations, book reviews, reading challenges, or
other fun blog content. Then widen your audience’s world view by hosting
your diverse blogging buddy on your own site. Readers of both blogs will
learn about our common humanity as they look “through the window” at
another marginalized culture. A new blogger pair will swap content each
month through December 2020.

Our first phase is to recruit Jewish bloggers. Once we have a Jewish blog
assigned for each month, we will recruit other diverse bloggers and make
the matches. I will take the first shift for the month of March, at AJL's
blog, People of the Books; we need bloggers for April through December. *Please
let me know if I can count on your participation!* I'll assign months
randomly, but do let me know if there's a month when you are not available.
Also, please let me know if you have other Jewish book blogs to suggest, or
diverse book blogs representing other marginalized communities.

You can find an FAQ with all the details at

Can't wait to see you Through the Window!
