I, also, add my gratitude to Rachel, Marci, Lisa, Dina and Kathy for planning the conference. Only a few weeks ago I was exited when I went over the preliminary schedule and the joint programs with ALA . While I was disappointed when the Board had to make this tough decision I understood it. It is essential for the success of the conference that the conference committee is able to work on the conference planning 3 months before the confercne , but it is impossible. The hotel also cancelled our reservations and a decision needed to be made now. I hope that, regardless of the location, most of the presenters will be able to join us next year. Amalia W.
