Dear Colleagues, The AJL Jewish Fiction Award Committee is seeking one new member for the upcoming year 2020-2021. This is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant field of contemporary Jewish fiction; to connect with and learn from a group of wise and committed colleagues; and to honor outstanding writers. Members serve two year terms.
We are looking for avid readers who: Enjoy reading literary fiction Feel comfortable expressing an opinion about what they’ve read beyond “I liked it” or “I didn’t like it.” Are willing to commit the time to read 7-10 books in a 12-month period. Past or current involvement in a book discussion group would be a plus. For this time only: lives in the United States or Canada I will be taking over as the chair of the committee and will now be the point person for any new members.
