Thanks Diane for your comments. You are right and to make sure that these findings had been corroborated I checked the CdC webpage and they say approximately the same thing.
Last week I had to take a “safety exam” before returning to the library for an hour to clean my cubicle of any personal items I wanted to have at home. We can’t enter the building, even for an hour, until we have completed this exam which is based on the CdC recommendations. One of those recommendations is that gloves are not necessary. Masks are the Personal Protective Equipment that we need and social distancing is strongly, uncompromisingly, emphasized.
