Thank you thank you to everyone who made this year’s first virtual conference possible. I am indebted to AJL for years of invaluable guidance through conferences, publications and personal mentor advice. Our library is the only synagogue library in a 200-mile radius in the four corners region of the US, and I feel a particular obligation as the volunteer founder and keeper of the books (I am not a professional librarian) to maintain this resource for our dispersed and diverse community. Attending conferences when I can (every 3-5 years) has been extremely helpful, but this virtual opportunity is very exciting to me to keep the excitement and library itself fresh with new ideas garnered from all of the great experts at AJL. I am enjoying catching up on a few sessions I was unable to attend live - a great resource to continue to have available. Thanks for all the hard work in making the virtual conference happen. I hope a similar format can be available in the future.
