‪Subject: Aron Lutwak, ז״ל‬

It is my sad duty to inform members of AJL of the passing of Aron Lutwak
earlier this week, on November 23 (8 Kislev). Aron was born in Czernowitz
on October 16, 1934. His first language was German, but later attended
Romanian schools. (While adding sums, he always did it in Rumanian, not in
German.) He was book dealer specializing in out of print academic books of
Judaic content. One could not overlook his periodic lists of offerings as
they were always printed on eye catching yellow paper. He was active in the
book trade for over 50 years, best known for his store, Ideal Books. He
possessed a generous soul and warm sense of humor. With his death, we have
lost one precious more link to that irretrievable Jewish presence in
pre-War Central Europe.

Surviving are his wife Alice, three children and four grandchildren.

יהי זכרו ברוך
