The Simon Wiesenthal Center and Museum of Tolerance in partnership with Club Z
present a 3-part series entitled Jew-Hatred Exposed: Voices Beyond the
Conventional.

The first panel discussion on Sunday, January 10, 2pm PST/5pm EST addresses How
Did Antisemitism Become Anti-Zionism? Jew-Hatred Exposed, and takes a critical
look at today’s most potent and misdiagnosed variety of anti-Semitism:
anti-Zionism. Enemies of the Jewish people and the State of Israel have
successfully peddled anti-Zionism, masquerading as a form of human rights, on
college campuses, in the media, and in our schools, making the fight against
Jew-hatred difficult to both identify and combat.

The panel is made up of Dr. Judea Pearl, UCLA professor, prolific writer, and
activist who will discuss the dangers of “Zion-phobia”; Mark Weitzman, SWC
Director of Government Affairs whose work on the IHRA definition has paved the
way for many international governments and institutions to include anti-Zionism
as a form of anti-Semitism; and Dr. Naya Lekht, Director of Education at Club
Z, a teen Zionist movement, who has developed a unique approach to teaching
about anti-Semitism. The event will be moderated by Rabbi Abraham Cooper,
Associate Dean and Director of Global Social Action for SWC.
