SSCPL Division leadership is encouraging AJL members as well as non-Members to submit proposals on: - Any topic concerning Secondary Schools, especially High Schools. - Lessons learned from providing library services and programming during COVID. Including which successes during COVID will be carried over when everyone returns to non-COVID times. - Topics that relate to Public Libraries; either partnerships with Public Libraries, or Judaic programming and services conducted by Public Libraries. - Advocacy. AJL has moved the conference dates from Father’s Day weekend, which conflicted with Day School and Yeshiva end dates, to Sunday, June 27 - Thursday, July 1, 2021. This year’s conference, Digital Conference 2021: Moving Forward, will again be a digital conference. Because of these changes, there are very few barriers preventing all SSCPL members from participating and presenting. I highly encourage everyone to consider presenting and sharing their knowledge at the conference and to definitely plan on attending and learning from our amazing membership. If you have already submitted a proposal, thank you, and I look forward to learning from you this summer!
