שלום וברכה,

Base Hasefer (

) is an analytical Torah search engine that starts with the תנ"ך with hopes
to add other ספרי קודש in the future.  It offers innovative, advanced tools for
searching, viewing and analysis.

A few of you "safranim" are already aware of Base Hasefer as it has been listed
as a resource on the web sites of the National Library of Israel, Yeshiva
University, Columbia, Princeton and more.  Those who aren't yet familiar are
welcome to include it in their library web sites and listings of digital Torah
resources.
Among its features are:
   - Simple and Advanced search that allow the specification of many conditions
while searching for patterns and combinations of letters, נקודות and even טעמי
המקרא
   - A Tanach "browser" that in addition to תנ"ך text lets the user display
side by side columns of Targum, כתב סת"ם, כתב עברי and word-by-word gematria
   - A page that displays statistics on frequency of words used in תנ"ך
   - A "Text comparator" that lets one chose two different groups of pasuk
sections for multi-faceted comparisons
   - A visualizer that displays a collapsible tree breakdown for every pasuk in
תנ"ך according to the rules of Rav Breuer z"l's ספר טעמי המקרא
   - A word-cloud generator for sections of תנ"ך  (which also display clouds
for נקודות, טעמי המקרא and gematria usage!)
   - A feature that recently received an Honorable Mention in the Powered by
Sefaria contest of Summer 2020 - a very interactive 3D family tree of a
comprehensive list of characters appearing in the תנ"ך beginning with אדם וחוה
and extending through the beginning of בית שני (see the fourth listing from the
bottom at

  ).  Videos are available here

that demo a tour from אדם הראשון to זרובבל via the 3D Tree feature.
   - and more....
Clicking the info button (i) from the menu section in the upper right of the
screen with bring you to general information about Base Hasefer.  More
importantly, clicking on the Help button (?) there will pop up a
context-sensitive box with instructions on how to use different aspects of the
software. I would suggest briefly visiting both of them in order to understand
things and then to try out some searches and other features.

Please keep in mind that while many things work nicely this is very much a work
in progress and there will be glitches.
